June 21 marks the summer solstice—or as Will Shakespeare called it, Midsummer’s Eve. On this longest day of the year, why not celebrate Shakespeare’s legacy: read one of his plays or sonnets, maybe toss around a few Shakespearian insults. If you’d rather binge watch movies, Writer’s Relief found this article on Tor.com that lists some of our favorite movie adaptions of the Bard’s work:

  • Romeo + Juliet (1996)
  • 10 Things I Hate About You (1999)
  • My Own Private Idaho (1991)
  • Warm Bodies (2013)

See the entire list here.
