How Print Book Sales Fared In 2023 | Writer’s Relief

Overall sales of print books fell 2.6% in 2023, which is better than expected results for the publishing industry. In this article found on PublishersWeekly.com, Writer’s Relief learned that eight titles sold more than one million print copies in 2023, the same number that topped that level in 2022. Meanwhile, print book sales in adult nonfiction were bolstered by the release of several big-name memoirs and only dropped by 3.1% in 2023—which was much better than in 2022, when sales dropped 10.3%.
