Sometimes, mistakes can magically turn into money! According to an article that Writer’s Relief found at metro.co.uk, a rare hardcover edition of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (Sorcerer’s Stone to American readers) recently sold for over $37,000! Only 500 books were originally published and they feature a few distinctive typos. The most noticeable error is the misspelling of “philosopher” on the back cover.

Read more here to find out what other typos were made in these first editions of the now classic book!
