13 Books Most Often Targeted For Banning in 2022 | Writer’s Relief

Book banning efforts have increased, with the American Library Association reporting more censorship attempts in 2022 than ever before—a 38% increase from 2021. Out of 2,571 different titles targeted for censorship last year, the ALA states that the most-targeted books were written by or about members of the LGBTQIA+ community and people of color.
