Writer’s block can stifle your creativity in more than one way. Sometimes, you reach a point in your writing where you feel stuck—you simply can’t figure out what happens next or how to end a story or poem. Other times, you’ve finished the piece you’ve been working on and can’t think of something new to start. And staring at a blank page (or computer screen) only seems to make things worse!

Writer’s Relief has a great way to sprinkle some seeds of inspiration and break through writer’s block. Try a 3-word writing prompt!

We’ve created a list of random adjectives, nouns, and verbs. Pick one word from each column. You can read straight across, or choose any combination. For example, the first, fifth, and seventh word in each list: accidental; snail; boast. Use the words and some freewriting to see what new ideas might sprout!
