Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the announcement of the 2020 Pulitzer Prize Award winners will be rescheduled. In this article Writer’s Relief found on the Pulitzer Prize website, the announcement was originally set for April 20. However, the board has decided to move the livestream announcement to May 4, 2020. The board members consist of many journalists who are now involved in bringing updates on the pandemic to the public. The annual awards luncheon may also be postponed.
