With so many people now at home, we’ve all turned to books to pass the time. As a result, libraries are dealing with increased demands for ebooks and books in general. In this article Writer’s Relief found on npr.org, librarians state that book requests are running 37% higher than this same time last year. And weekly library e-book lending across the country has increased by nearly 50% since March 9. Some libraries have begun offering curbside pickup similar to the way restaurants and retail stores have been accommodating customers.
