Mostly 2:

You may enjoy horror stories, but don’t read this one in the dark! A modern story for horror fans, The Girl From The Well follows Okiku, a vengeful spirit who frees the tethered ghosts of murdered children. Okiku’s mission takes an unexpected turn when she meets Tark, a boy with demons trapped in the tattoos on his skin. Tark needs to be freed, but there’s one problem: If the demon dies, so does its host.

You can’t resist reading great poetry! Don’t Call Us Dead is your next must-read, offering unforgettable lyrics, urgent subjects, and performative power. This collection by slam poet Danez Smith about Black bodies and queer people with HIV will touch your heart and make you laugh and cry.

Mostly 4:

Memoirs are your go-to read! In Untamed, Glennon Doyle explores how she learned that a responsible mother is not one who slowly dies for her children, but one who shows them how to fully live. This inspirational memoir shows how we must trust ourselves enough to set boundaries, make peace with our bodies, honor our anger and heartbreak, and unleash our truest, wildest instincts—because the braver we are, the luckier we get.

Untamed by Glennon Doyle

Any one—or all—of these books would be a worthy addition to your reading list, but you don’t have to limit yourself to these titles. If a different book sparks your interest, that’s the one you should buy!

Question: Which book will you be buying? One of these, or a different one? Tell us the title in the comments!
