For example, Dashiel Carrera used a time constraint (write as much as you can in 30 minutes) to give his protagonist a hurried, anxious pace. And for his book oems, Matthew Tomkinson used a more unique boundary: He eliminated all the words from the dictionary that contained tall letters (b, d, f, g, h, j, k, l, p, q, t, y) and wrote using only those words that were left.
