Offering Grammar Advice to Strangers | Writer’s Relief

New York City might seem like a questionable place to offer grammar advice to strangers on the street. But that’s exactly what Ellen Jovin decided to do in this article Writer’s Relief found on LitHub.com! And the results were much more interesting—and friendlier—than you might expect. At her Grammar Table, Jovin met MTA employees with questions about “your” and “you’re,” a husband and wife arguing about a misplaced apostrophe, and people who had teachers, coworkers, or others in their lives incorrectly correcting their language use. Grammar Table proved so popular, Jovin took it on the road to answer questions and offer grammar advice in almost every US state!
