Language is always evolving! Merriam-Webster announced that 520 new—or relatively new—words will be added to their dictionary for 2021. Hard pass, gig worker, and wet market are some of the new words added in the latest update. And a few words, like flex, (or the symbol “@”) have garnered new meanings.
