Here’s the truth: New writers are getting published every single day. And if you’ve got the talent, there’s no reason you shouldn’t be one of them. Writer’s Relief can help you by saving you time and researching the agents and editors who are BEST for your specific type and level of writing.

At some point, every writer is a new writer. If you want to make the leap from unpublished to published, you’ll need a two-prong strategy:

1. Write well. It’s one thing to take the act of writing seriously, but it’s another thing altogether to take the craft of writing seriously. Learn strong technique. Write strong poetry and prose.

2. Develop an effective and habitual submission strategy. If your writing is strong, it does no good to leave your manuscripts sitting under a bed. If you’re a new writer seeking places to publish your work, you’ve got to do some research about literary agents and literary magazines. Learn the ropes of how to make submissions and how the overall publishing industry works. You can start here: Most Popular Writing and Publishing Articles: Learn How To Get Published

Still feel like you’re drowning in research and submissions?

Do you want help finding literary agents and editors who are willing to work with new, unpublished writers?

Writer’s Relief is an author’s submission service, and many of our clients come to us as unpublished writers with big dreams. We’ve been in this business since 1994, developing submission strategies that work. One writer who recently joined our Full Service program came to us as a new writer with no publications, but left with many of his works published in respected literary magazines AND a literary agent to represent his novel. Who says new writers can’t get published?

New writers ARE getting published—and you can publish your writing in reputable venues too. But you’ve got to have a strategy that works. If your writing is solid and your current submission techniques aren’t working, it’s time to call us. Writer’s Relief can help you get your writing published, whether you’re a new writer or a veteran. We research and target literary agents and editors of literary journals who are open to reading work by new writers! Check out our services! Read More: Where New Writers Can Get Published

Whether you want to take the traditional publishing route or prefer to self-publish, we can help. Give us a call, and we will point you in the right direction!
