November is a busy month in the world of creative writing. Fiction and nonfiction writers who participate in group events can be especially busy this month!
National Novel Writing Month – “National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to creative writing. On November 1, participants begin working toward the goal of writing a 50,000-word novel by 11:59 PM on November 30. Valuing enthusiasm, determination, and a deadline, NaNoWriMo is for anyone who has ever thought about writing a novel.”
National Lifewriting Month – “This is the month that memoir writers join the fiction folks over at NaNoWriMo to write as much as 50,000 words in 30 days. That is 6.5 pages a day. Can you do it? Are you willing to dedicate a couple of hours a day to see just how much you can write?”
QUESTION: Will you participate in the November write-a-thons?
